Alternative authentication methods
Windows sign-in using other authentication methods
- Turn on your Windows computer.
- Enter your AAM ID in the Windows sign-in screen.
- In the authentication pop-up window, the default authentication method is displayed based on the authentication policy.
- In the bottom of the pop-up window, click Choose another authentication method.
- All allowed authentication methods for the user are displayed.
- Click the authentication method you want to use.
- In the authentication pop-up window, the selected authentication method proceeds.
- Sign in based on the selected method.

- OTP cards
- FIDO 2.0 security keys
- User password (Not recommended)
Linux sign-in using other authentication methods
- Turn on your Linux computer.
- Enter your AAM ID in the Linux sign-in screen.
- All allowed authentication methods for the user are displayed.
- Enter the shorcut key for the authentication method you want to use.
- The selected authentication method proceeds.
- Sign in based on the selected method.
